Patient C.C., female, 45 years old, from urban area, retired, suffering of multiple sclerosis, presented to our unit for a 60 days old sacral pressure sore, with extensive necrosis and perilesional redness.
After the onset of the treatment with GANIKDERMA® products it is evident the reduction of the necrotic tissue with recession, concomitant with the development of granulation and epithelization tissue (due to the stimulation of keratinocytes, epithelial and endothelial cells with enhanced new blood vessels formation).
The initial surface of the sacral sore was 153.98 cm2; after 13 days of treatment it was reduced by half; after 22 days of treatment, the remaining area was ¼ of the initial one. After 100 days of treatment, the lesion was fully healed.
